Acceptance

Acceptance is based on the family’s ability to:

• Meet academic admission standards

• Meet behavioral standards

• Accept and practice the faith and values that are an integral part of the Catholic School Community

• Agree to comply with the school philosophy and policies

 

Requirements for Acceptance of New Kindergarten- 8th Grade Students

 

Kindergarten applicants must:  

• Be 5 years of age by September 1st

• Provide a recommendation from the preschool teacher (if applicable) identifying strengths/readiness

• Successfully complete the developmental readiness screening

• Provide copies of Birth and Baptismal certificates (if applicable)

• Provide up-to-date immunization records

• Provide current Physical Exam

 

First-grade applicants must:

• Be 6 years of age by September 1st

• Provide a recommendation from the Kindergarten teacher identifying strengths/readiness (if applicable)

• Be evaluated for readiness in language, motor skills and perception

• Provide a report card from Kindergarten if transferring from another school

• Provide copies of Birth certificates

• Provide copies of Baptismal certificates (if applicable)

• Provide up-to-date immunization records

• Provide verification of a doctor’s physical examination after March 1st of the year of Kindergarten entrance

 

Second, through Eighth-grade applicants must:

• Be enrolled in good standing at their current school

• Provide report card and latest test scores if transferring from another school

• Be evaluated for readiness in Language Arts and Mathematics

• Provide copies of Birth certificates

• Provide copies of Baptismal certificates (if applicable)

• Provide up-to-date immunization records

• Provide a copy of their First Reconciliation and/or Communion certificate (if applicable for grades 3-8)

 

Enrollment and Registration

 

Upon acceptance, parents will be notified by phone or email with instructions and a link to complete enrollment and registration.
